So to fulfill my need to be slightly irrational, I decided to cut my hair.
Shorter than I have ever had it. Well, since 5th grade. We don't talk about that haircut very often. I looked like a boy. A very goofy, sissy-looking boy. Maybe someday I will post a picture.
So step one. The cut.
It's definitely different than what I am used to (see header for a decent "before"), but I like it. My new stylist did a great job going by the picture I gave to her. Asher loved it, Silas ran away from me (then hugged me), and Jude didn't notice a difference. Oh, and JD LOVES it. I know not many husbands are that encouraging of their wives to chop off their hair.
Then 2 days later, (umm, yesterday) I decided to color it. A very wild color combination, yet still in the "natural" realm. I probably should have done a darker color, but I am getting used to it. And today, I kinda like it more.
I look like a redhead with blond highlights.
So, yeah, feeling an urge to do something crazy? Go get a haircut, and change the color while you're at it. It is much better than breaking the law.

I love it! It really brightens up your face with the highlights and the cut is so cute- it will be so easy to style too which is a definite bonus!

You should never grow your hair out again. Anyone that looks that great with short hair should just go with it forever! I love it!
I am dying over here because I seriously chopped all my hair off a week ago (although, it was more the post-baby hair loss urging this on). I didn't have the guts to color it, but just maybe I'll give it a go... live on the wild side!
